Applications for St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship Via Real Estate Now More Affordable for Families
February 14, 2018 - News
Applying for St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship via Real Estate is now more affordable for families with the announcement by the Citizenship by Investment Unit of a reduction in Government Fees..
The Government fees have now been revised to the below:
Main applicant: USD 35,000 (previously USD 50,000)
Spouse of main applicant: USD 20,000 (previously USD 25,000)
Each dependent irrespective of age: USD 10,000
The revision in Government fees will particularly benefit families who wish to add eligible adult dependents, including children above 18 years and dependent parents/ grandparents who previously paid fees of USD 50,000 each. Dependent children under 18 years also receive a significant reduction in fees of more than half (previously fees were USD 25,000.).
Importantly, the announcement confirms that the change in fees will be retroactively valid for all real estate applications that have already been approved but have not yet paid the Government Fees.
However, it also confirms that no refunds will be accomodated after the release of the official announcement confirming the fee amendment, dated February 12, 2018.
