The fortress walls, three feet thick, made of locally quarried volcanic stone. The buildings inside have stood since the 1690s.

A purpose-built superyacht marina at the southern end of St. Kitts, with berths for vessels up to 300 feet. The principal harbour for the country's CBI-era developments.

Nevis Peak

Nevis seen from the sea. The dormant volcano rises 3,232 feet, almost always cloud-wrapped at the summit. Christopher Columbus named the island 'Nuestra Señora de las Nieves' for the resemblance to a snow-capped peak.
